A Midcentury ranch home is reimagined thanks to a spacious addition that accommodates new laundry, walk-in pantry, family room, bedroom and bath.

Joni began with a slab of Calcutta Vagli marble with British racing green veining as the muse. Spanish Revival pendants were layered with glass upper cabinets, butcher block and green cabinetry. Soapstone counters act as a middle ground between mushroom and green cabinetry. Zellige tiles in a running bond pattern pay homage to the home’s 1950s origin. Matte white appliances with brushed bronze and copper hardware add a playful mixed metal element.
The family room takes visual notes from countryside English pubs—equally at home for casual meals and rowdy game nights. Time-honored, existing millwork echoes the kitchen. Reclaimed light fixtures add charm. Black and white marble parquet flooring brings a maximalist vibe.
