A waterfront home in Williamsburg is reimagined for an active family of five.

A breezy and bold kitchen is at the heart of this 5,000 square foot coastal home. Space was borrowed to increase the kitchen’s footprint and add a pantry. The floor plan was considered for ease of meal prep and clean-up. Aged iron light fixtures add contrast to a minimal white space. Natural jute shades bring warmth.

Glass-front cabinets reveal everyday dishware and sit just above a hidden dishwasher. A reimagined family space provides a cozy retreat. A marble-clad fireplace along with shiplap create a focal point. The adjacent bar with custom cabinetry provides contrast and usability.

The primary bath was reconfigured to add an oversized shower providing additional closet space off the bedroom. Charcoal cabinets, matte black fixtures and lighting add contrast against white countertops.
