The Maple Grove House was built from the ground up to create a calm, serene family home.

In this new construction home, we were called upon to furnish for a bustling family of six. Wide plank white oak flooring is woven throughout the home. In the living room, the furniture arrangement and fabrics considered the active bunch. The ceiling’s architectural detail draws the eye up without competing with the room. Rounded bookshelves flank the fireplace where accessories and family photos are displayed. Modern iron stair rails and arched double doors add an architectural moment to the entryway.
In the kitchen, an arched black and oak range hood commands center stage. Rift-sawn white oak upper cabinets cast visual relief to the black stained cabinets. An expansive window allows an abundance of natural light above the black quartz sink. The oversized island with a waterfall edge houses microwave and refrigerator drawers while offering a multitude of storage. Calacatta Abezzo quartz counters are both durable and maintenance-free.
Simplicity continues in the light-filled bedrooms. A white boucle upholstered bed graciously heralds the primary bedroom. In the bathroom, a luxurious soaking tub and floor-mounted faucet are reminiscent of hotel luxury. In the lower level guest suite, slatted wood detailing behind the bed adds architectural interest and a distinct focal point. Modern bedside tables with sunburst-pattern, pearlescent capiz shell drawers are both beautiful and useful.
